Artist Comments

In May 2022, I was at the Red Rock Canyon Trail and Walatowa Visitor Center in Jemez, NM taking pictures that were the inspiration for a group of seven paintings. The area along Highway 4 from Jemez to Valles Caldera is a beautiful and spiritual place.

This is an acrylic painting on an Artefex Alcotpanel, which is a cotton canvas adhered to an aluminum panel. This is a new substrate for me and I'm very pleased with the professional archival quality. It is framed in a black wood frame with a gold inner edge. Shipping is free to the continental U.S.
